Chicken Nuts...

this post is actually from last month...I am way behind and forgetting things in my old age. Just a couple of things:

Mia Morgan singing-loudly-in Wal Mart about how much she LOVES "Chicken Nuts". That would be Nuggets to you & me-but in her world it's all about the nuts. The old folks on the morning crew got lots of laughs from that one.

2) Cooper has some ideas about winning...he asked me one day if I knew "what was better than winning or losing?" When I said no, he looked very proud and said..."uh just being an all around Good Sport- Mom"

Not too funny but very intelligent...

3) Cooper has been asking for a cell phone. (Which is INSANE)

Here's how the conversation went.

Coop: Moma- about that cell phone -- why exactly can I not have one?
Me: Because you don't have a job.
Coop: How old do I have to be to get a job?
Me: Older. And you have to go to college first.
Coop: How old do you have to be to go to college?
Me: 18
Coop: (muttering) Gosh- I wish I could just go to college when I'm 13.
Funny kids. They are literally climbing the walls as you can see here :)

The Baby Bulldogs...

As some or all of you know we had a hurricane this weekend...but before that we had the football season kicking off with games all over the place.
Of course, State had their first game and that's all I'm going to even say about it...I don't know what happened...I just know we lost. Whatever.
So we had a few friends over to eat, drink, watch the game, etc. and of course all their kids came along, too. It's always so much fun when we all get together with these "mini" versions of ourselves...the kids have a blast but I think we have more fun just watching them.

It's funny how fast life goes by. We've all been friends for years...10-12 years some of us...and it always tickles me when I think of how we use to watch these games or cook-out together. Everything is alot tamer and ends alot earlier...but it's as much fun now as it was then...just a different kind of fun.

Anyway...the kids are HILARIOUS and the baby versions of ourselves are alot funnier than we ever were :)
Here's just a few shots of some of the cutie-patooties Saturday...
